Shipping Policy
Effective June 12, 2026
Order Cutoff & Processing
Orders confirmed by 2:00 PM Pacific time ship the same business day, stock permitting. Orders confirmed after 2:00 PM ship the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Where We Ship From
All in-stock orders ship from Stockton, California. Ground shipping typically reaches the entire West Coast in 1–2 business days and most of the continental United States in 3–5 business days.
Carriers & Methods
Standard parts ship UPS or FedEx Ground. Expedited shipping (overnight, 2-day) is available on request and quoted at cost. Heavy items — motors, large assemblies, and anything over approximately 100 lbs — ship LTL freight on a pallet. Freight shipments are quoted individually before order confirmation so there are no surprise charges. Liftgate service and delivery appointments are available for freight shipments; let us know your receiving requirements when you order.
Battery & Hazardous Materials Shipping
Parts containing lithium batteries are subject to federal hazardous materials shipping regulations and may be limited to ground transport with specialized packaging. Lead times for these items are confirmed on your quote.
Tracking
Every shipment generates an automatic email with the tracking number the day it ships. Freight shipments include the carrier PRO number and the carrier's delivery contact.
Delivery Estimates
Ship dates and transit times on quotes are good-faith estimates based on current stock and carrier performance, not guarantees. If something changes on our end — a supplier delay, a stock issue — we contact you before the order ships, not after.
Receiving & Damage Claims
Please inspect every shipment on arrival. For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing — this is essential for the carrier claim. Report damaged or missing items to us within 48 hours of delivery at goelectricparts@gmail.com or (209) 555-0140 and we will resolve it promptly, including filing carrier claims on your behalf.
Title & Risk of Loss
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, shipments are FOB shipping point: title and risk of loss pass to the customer when we deliver the goods to the carrier. We will assist with all carrier damage claims regardless.
